Traffic restrictions and street closures will be in place for two major events in downtown Tucson, the Dusk Music Festival and the Veterans Day parade, city officials say.
Several road closures will be in effect until Sunday evening for the music festival.
North Stone Avenue will be closed from Alameda Street to Congress Street, and North Church Avenue will be closed from Alameda Street to Congress Street, city officials say.
Motorists should anticipate delays. Pedestrian and bicycle access will be maintained in and around the road closures, with businesses and parking lots remaining open.
The Tucson Veterans Day Parade on Friday will prompt more temporary street closures.
Affected streets include Granada Avenue, Broadway/Congress Street, Cushing Street, and Church Avenue. These closures will be in effect from about 9 a.m. to about 1 p.m. Law enforcement officers will be present to facilitate traffic flow.
