A 43-year-old man who was killed near Willcox Tuesday has been identified as Patrick William Gleason, an official said Friday.
Cochise County Sheriff’s deputies found Gleason around 3 a.m. after receiving a call about a body off the side of Fort Grant Road, eight miles north of Willcox, according to Carol Capas, a department spokeswoman.
Officials refused to release the cause of death but said that the slaying was obviously intentional.
Thus far, three people have been arrested in connection with the case but authorities are still looking for another man, Capas said.
John Edward Romero, a 36-year-old Willcox resident, and Jonathan Arthur Ramil, a 19-year-old Bowie man, are facing charges of first-degree murder, tampering with physical evidence and hindering prosecution.
