TEMPE, Ariz. — Police say a massage parlor in Tempe was a front for a human sex-trafficking ring.
Sgt. Michael Pooley said Thursday a 10-month investigation by police and the state Attorney General's Office determined the Amazing Spa was operating an illegal prostitution operation.
According to investigators, Angela Chan and Kyoung Song allegedly had young women from Korea and China perform sex acts on multiple male customers each day.
They say the women worked an average of 15 hours a day seven days a week.
Chan and Song are accused of then pocketing all the money.
Police say the victims were rotated out frequently when new women became available.
It was not immediately known if Chan and Song had attorneys and what charges they face.
