Juan Ciscomani’s signs don’t mention his party, and the Tucson Agenda reported that his political ads and Twitter feed don’t mention Trump or the fact that Trump endorsed him. He’s also attempting to present himself as bipartisan. In fact, his voting record is 100% for Trump initiatives. (His official congressional site and weekly newsletter still mention Trump regularly.)
So, along with many Republicans, he’s trying to distance himself locally from Trump to get reelected. But it's worth remembering that most Republicans in the House, including Ciscomani, have rubber-stamped Trump’s actions, even when given opportunities to object, i.e. voting against attempts to rein-in Trump’s actions in Iran.
