It’s finally official: The Arizona Wildcats will begin spring practice on Friday, Feb. 12.
The start of spring ball originally had been scheduled for Feb. 5. It then was pushed back to Feb. 10. The new schedule allows the coaches more time to prepare after Wednesday’s National Signing Day. Arizona also has yet to hire a defensive line coach.
The spring “game,” an open-to-the-pubic scrimmage, remains scheduled for March 4, but that is subject to change. Spring workouts will conclude March 25.
Coach Rich Rodriguez and his staff will be available to the media on Feb. 11, so we’ll have plenty of pre-spring material for you coming out of that.
