A few weeks after leading the Pima College women's basketball team to its first national title in program history, Kiley Sours-Miller became the first Aztec to be named NJCAA Division II Player of the Year.
Sours-Miller, a sophomore, averaged 19.1 points, 9.1 rebounds and 1.8 blocks in 34 games. She notched 15 double-doubles. In her career, Sours-Miller averaged 18.6 points and 9.9 rebounds while shooting 59.7% from the field to go with 32 double-doubles.

The Aztecs went 59-10 in her two years, and beat Kirkwood CC 64-58 in the national title game in Hickory, N.C., on March 21.
Sours-Miller was also named to the NJCAA First-Team All-America squad for the second straight year. She was joined on the team by Pima sophomore Melicia Nelson, who averaged 11.1 points, 8.0 assists, 7.7 rebounds and 3.0 steals. She had four triple-doubles and was the MVP of the NJCAA Division II National Tournament.

Pima's Todd Holthaus was named the NJCAA Division II Coach of the Year last week after leading his team to the national title. Pima was 30-4 this year — the most wins in school history — and Holthuas is 429-180 in 19 seasons with the Aztecs.

He has produced an All-American player in 16 of his 19 years. Pima will take an 18-game winning streak into the 2026-27 season.
Men's basketball
Pima's Isaiah Hill was named an NJCAA Division II All-American, while Isaac Johnson was an honorable mention.
Hill, a freshman, averaged 15.6 points, 6.8 assists, 3.6 rebounds and 3.4 steals while shooting 56.7% overall and 50.4% from 3-point range. Johnson, a sophomore, averaged 16.9 points and 6.5 rebounds. He shot 71.8% from the field.
The Aztecs went 35-1, falling in the quarterfinals of the NJCAA Division II National Tournament in March. Pima is 70-2 over the past two seasons.
Softball
No. 10-ranked Pima ran its winning streak to 12 by sweeping host Glendale CC in a doubleheader Saturday, 7-0 and 6-0.
Adriana Machado (13-2) pitched a complete-game two-hitter in the opener, while Sariah Ferrentino (7-1) and Belen Camacho combined on a three-hitter in the nightcap. Jiselle Nunez and Izabel Rodriguez each had four RBIs on the day. Nunez was 3 for 7 with four RBIs and three runs, while Rodriguez had two hits and scored twice.
This week, the Aztecs (36-5, 28-4 ACCAC) visit Paradise Valley CC for a doubleheader Tuesday and take on South Mountain CC on the road in a Saturday doubleheader.
Baseball
Pima beat visiting Mesa CC 16-6 on Saturday to improve to 23-23 overall and 15-18 in the ACCAC.
The Aztecs trailed 6-0 in the second inning before scoring the game's final 16 runs in the six-inning contest.
Mike Jones and Adriel Figueroa-Brito each drove in five runs in the win. Jones finished 2 for 2 with two homers — including a grand slam — while Figueroa-Brito was 3 for 5. Brady Hall (3-3) earned the win in relief.
Pima plays four games this week: at home against Paradise Valley CC on Tuesday, at Chandler-Gilbert CC on Wednesday, at GateWay CC on Friday and at Scottsdale CC on Saturday.
