At I-Ridge,the Nighthawks (2-1) ran all over Apollo while its defense held the opposition to under 300 yards of offense. The blowout is also revenge for a 35-28 loss on the road last fall.
Highlight reel: Midway through the first quarter the Nighthawks' Deacon Laurita intercepted a pass and returned it 25 yards for a touchdown.
Player of the game: Junior running back Cole McLafferty carried the load in the beginning. He finished the game with 143 rushing yards and two touchdowns.
