The three-year starter and clear team leader led his team to the state semifinals and threw for 2,842 yards and 32 touchdowns to lead Southern Arizona.
RB: Ka'Deem Carey, Sr., Canyon del Oro
The heart and soul of the Dorados, Carey put up eye-popping numbers (1,777 yards and 26 rushing touchdowns) despite missing three games.
RB: Manny Vera, Jr., Sunnyside
The tough runner grabbed Southern Arizona's attention when he ran for 409 yards against Nogales in Week 2. He finished the season with 1,908 yards.
WR: Trevor Wesley, Sr., Ironwood Ridge
D'Amore's favorite target, the two-way starter made play after play for the Nighthawks and ended the year with 72 catches for 1,157 yards and 16 touchdowns.

WR: Joseph Matthews, Sr., Rincon/ University
The New Mexico State commit was a playmaker all year for the Rangers and his physical style allowed him to catch 49 passes for 832 yards and 11 TDs.
WR: Shawn Kobylinski, Sr., Catalina Foothills
Kobylinski, who did a little bit of everything for the Falcons, was also QB Alyn Fletcher's favorite target, grabbing 33 catches for 607 yards.
TE: Ben Sullivan, Sr., Salpointe Catholic
Sullivan led Southern Arizona tight ends with 668 receiving yards and also caught touchdowns in four straight games for the Lancers.
OL: Jacob Arzouman, Sr., Salpointe Catholic
The 6-foot-4-inch, 270-pound right tackle was the leader of the offensive line and will take his game to the UA next season.
OL: Jesse Caldwell, Sr., Canyon del Oro
At 6 feet 4 inches and 262 pounds, the center paved the way for Ka'Deem Carey and Co., the past two years, showing above-average speed.
OL: Wes Clausen, Sr., Sabino
A standout on the offensive and defensive lines, Clausen was a big reason why the Sabercats rushed for 2,917 yards and 50 touchdowns.
OL: Crispin Chavira, Sr., Amphitheater
The Panthers could play their style of game, power football, because of the senior leader Chavira and his linemates up front, paving the way.
OL: Luis Parra, Sr., Catalina Foothills
The biggest Falcon offensive lineman, Parra (6 feet 4 inches, 245 pounds) was a big reason for his team's offensive success and first playoff win in program history.
All-purpose: Willie Willis, Sr., Cienega
The explosive playmaker made good things happen anytime he touched the ball, evidenced by his 25 all-around touchdowns and 1,827 rushing yards.
K: Tilghman Harvey, Sr., Canyon del Oro
It never seemed as if the Dorados were out of scoring distance thanks to the senior, who will definitely get a chance to keep kicking in college.
FIRST-TEAM DEFENSE
DL: David Catalano, Sr., Canyon del Oro
CDO's most physical defensive lineman in the last decade according to coach Dusty Peace, the San Jose State-bound nose guard had 58 tackles and 5 1/2 sacks.
DL: Carson Martin, Sr., Canyon del Oro
Alongside Catalano, Martin had 31 tackles and four sacks for a defensive line that held opposing teams to 8.1 points a game during an undefeated regular season.
DL: Daniel Boice, Sr., Cienega
The athletic defensive end consistently got around the corner to pressure opposing quarterbacks and, for his efforts, tallied 43 tackles and 2 1/2 sacks.
DL: Jake Walker, Sr., Sabino
The aggressive defensive tackle broke through the line time and time again, racking up eight sacks, and was influential in the Sabercats' three shutouts.
LB: Blake Martinez, Jr., Canyon del Oro
Great size and strength only complement Martinez's uncanny knack for finding the guy with ball, evidenced by the junior's staggering 111 tackles and nine sacks. LB: Rolly Escarcega, Sr., Catalina Foothills
The man in the middle for Foothills, Escarcega was an often impenetrable second line of defense for the Falcons, recording 97 tackles.
LB: Clarence Williams, Sr., Amphitheater
A big part of the Panthers' ability to hold teams to 8.5 points a game during Amphi's 10-game winning streak, Williams racked up 77 tackles and 4 1/2 sacks.
LB: Conner Siegel, Sr., Salpointe Catholic
Teams often struggled to run on the Lancers thanks in part to Siegel, who used excellent field vision and quickness to total 105 tackles and a team-high 10 sacks.
DB: Brandon Perkins, Sr., Desert View
When he wasn't returning kickoffs for touchdowns or otherwise dominating on offense, Perkins made a habit of breaking up pass plays and making picks as a safety.
DB: Mitch Fischer, Jr., Ironwood Ridge
Perhaps the most dynamic DB in town, Fischer, a strong safety, used his speed to break up pass plays and his strength to come up and shut down the run.
DB: Tyler Williams, So., Ironwood Ridge
Only a sophomore, Williams' athleticism at free safety stood out for an Ironwood Ridge team that relied quite heavily on its DBs to make big plays.
DB: Samuel Nuñez, Sr., Amphitheater
Besides being a 1,000-yard rusher, he had six interceptions and was a key to Amphi's bend-but-don't-break defense, which gave up very few big plays.
All-purpose: Zach Davis, Sr., Cienega
The stats speak for themselves: Davis recorded 52 tackles and 8 1/2 sacks, forced two fumbles, had three interceptions and scored two defensive touchdowns.
P: Drew Riggleman, Sr., Sahuaro
Riggleman consistently used his strong leg to pin teams deep in their own territory, even booting a punt 87 yards in an October game against Sunnyside.
Coach of the year
Laurence Ruhf, Cholla
The first-year coach led his team to a 6-4 record after two wins in three seasons.
All-Southern-Arizona football selections were based on staff observations and collected statistics, in consulation with area coaches.
