Freshman Shelby Babcock pitched 12 2/3 innings Saturday and earned two wins as Arizona swept host Oregon State in a softball doubleheader.
In a 4-1 opening win, Babcock (13-2) lasted 5 2/3 innings and gave up four hits and five walks.
OSU scored in the seventh against Kenzie Fowler, who was removed after reaggravating a hamstring injury, UA coach Mike Candrea said Saturday. She will be examined when the team returns to Tucson.
In the nightcap, Babcock worked all seven innings of a 6-3 victory.
The Wildcats (34-7, 5-1 Pac-10) scored single runs in the first and second and twice in the third. They put the game out of reach in the sixth with two more runs.
