First they lower their prices and now McDonald's wants to give us a meal in exchange for a hug — or a thank-you, or a complement.
Beginning Monday and running through Valentine's Day, McDonald's restaurants in Southern Arizona and throughout the U.S. are accepting "lovin'" as payment between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m.
Customers will be randomly selected to get their breakfast, lunch, dinner or snack on the house in exchange for a fist bump or obliging their server by calling a loved one or offering someone a compliment.
Easy, right? (Frankly, we should all be doing that without the incentive of a free Big Mac!)
The deal is only good in the restaurant; no drive-through freebies will be given.
This is the international burger chain's way to encourage people to spread a little love in the month we set aside to honor love.
