For Leonel García and Noel Schajris, members of the popular pop duo Sin Bandera, working with R&B icon Brian McKnight on their latest album, "Mañana," was a dream come true.
"McKnight is definitely one of our biggest musical influences," Schajris told the San Antonio Express-News last December. "I can tell you that in every song I have ever sung, there's a little Brian McKnight in there."
The powerful vocalist lends his talents to Bandera's soulful ballad "La Razón Eres Tú." He is one of several artists featured on the 2005 release, including Puerto Rican hip-hop artist Vico C., Italian pop singer Laura Pausini and rapper Yung Kuntry.
García and Schajris come through Casino del Sol's AVA, 5655 W. Valencia Road, Friday. In addition to their latest, the Latin Grammy-winning musicians will be bringing songs from their 2003 self-titled debut release and their 2004 album "De Viaje."
