The La Posada retirement village in Green Valley inaugurated its "Concerts for" series with Concerts for Casa.
Every Saturday through February, the community will open its courtyard to the public for a concert to benefit local non-profit organizations. The first series benefits Casa de Esperanza and Casa's Los Niños del Valle.
Concerts will be in the courtyard of Posada Java, 665 S. Park Centre Ave., Green Valley. Concerts begin at 12:30 p.m., and admission is free. Donations will be collected, and raffles and silent auctions will be held to raise funds.
Organizers hope to make the series an annual event.
The lineup:
Saturday - Big Band Express swing music.
Feb. 6 - Los Changuitos Feos, aka Tucson's "Ugly Little Monkeys" youth mariachi group.

Feb. 20 - Catacoustic Groove, a cappella rock, soul, R&B and doo-wop.
Feb. 27 - Crystal Ridge Band, acoustic and bluegrass.
