What would you put in a 100-year time capsule to show future generations about Tucson life in 2010?
And what would people a century ago put in a time capsule to share a bit of 1910 Tucson?
These questions will be answered and discussed at a unique historical celebration Sunday at Downtown's Jewish History Museum.
The public is invited to attend and help celebrate the 100th anniversary of Tucson's first Jewish synagogue, at 564 S. Stone Ave., beginning at noon.
At 2 p.m., a time capsule hidden in a cornerstone will be removed and immediately put on display at the museum, which was once home to Temple Emanu-El.
Tucsonans are invited to purchase a personal time capsule to be buried in a vault under the building. The public also can suggest, on the museum's website, what to put in the museum's new time capsule, which will replace the one from 1910. Suggestions will be taken until Friday.

Personal time capsules are $50 and can be bought online or at the event. They must be completed and returned to the museum before the end of the year.
