J-E-L-L-OUCH!
A cabby driving a man and a woman home from Walmart last month was assaulted with a box of Jell-O after his taxi got stuck on a rutted dirt road.
When the driver saw how bad the road was, he asked his passengers if there was an alternate route to their southwest side home.
“The man said no and told him he could make it through,” according to a Pima County sheriff’s report.
When the taxi got stuck, the driver told his passengers they would have to walk the rest of the way home.
“The male passenger then became angry with him and demanded a ride to his home,” said the report.
The taxi driver “told him he could not and the male passenger threw a box of Jell-O at him striking him in the chest. The male passenger took an open beer can from the backseat of the taxi and stated that he would throw it in (the driver’s) face.”
