Corporation Commission candidate Jim Holway will spend most of Wednesday on YouTube in an attempt to reach out to voters.
The former assistant director of the Department of Water Resources stated the internet-based chats were necessary as his two Republican opponents have shied away from debates and refused to talk reporters.
"Their strategy is clear," Holway said. "They don't show up to events so they get canceled, don't talk about the issues so no one knows where you stand, and don't talk to reporters so there isn't a story."
Holway, one of two Democrats running for a seat on the commission, will make himself available at the top of every hour throughout the day on Wednesday, answering questions, talking about the issues and sharing his ideas for the future of Arizona.
The statewide candidate has embraced YouTube, posting more than 50 videos on the campaign channel.
