Two events Saturday will affect traffic through downtown.
St. Patrick's Day Parade and Festival
• The festival opens at 10 a.m. Saturday at El Presidio Park, 160 W. Alameda St.
The festival includes live Irish music, dancers, entertainment, a children's game area, and food and merchandise vendors.
• The parade starts at 11 a.m.

Old Pueblo Grand Prix
• The criterium race begins at 10:30 a.m. with the start/finish line in front of St. Augustine Cathedral, 192 S. Stone Ave. The bicycle race event includes an expo, food, beer garden, and bike-related family activities. Races are expected to end about 6:45 p.m.

Closed Roads
From 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.:
• Stone Avenue from Sixth Street south to Congress Street.
• Pennington Street from Church Avenue east to Stone.
• Church from Sixth Street south to Congress.
• Alameda Street from Granada Avenue east to Sixth Avenue.
• Main Avenue from Sixth Street south to Alameda.
All vehicles heading west on Toole Avenue will be directed to turn onto northbound Stone.
From 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.:
• Stone from Broadway south to Cushing Street.
• Cushing from Church east to Sixth Avenue.
• Scott Avenue from Broadway south to 14th Street.
• Jackson Avenue from Stone east to Scott Avenue.
