Albertsons
● Average fee is $5 to cash payroll and government checks.
Ace America's Cash Express
● 2 percent of the amount of the check plus $1.44 bank processing charge. Example: $7.44 on a $300 check. Rate is 3 percent for handwritten checks.
Bank of America
● Flat fee of $5 to noncustomers cashing a check drawn on a Bank of America account. The bank may not be able to cash checks drawn on other financial institutions.
Check Center
● Listed fees 2 percent to cash a paycheck and 3 percent to cash a money order.
