The Southern Arizona DUI task force deployed over the Cinco de Mayo weekend made more than 100 DUI arrests, police said.
Officers from the Tucson Police Department, Pima County Sheriff’s Department, University of Arizona, Marana and Oro Valley police departments patrolled the streets looking for drivers “impaired to the slightest degree,” according to a news release.
The following arrests were made from Thursday to Saturday, between 8 p.m. and 4 a.m.
• Total DUI arrests = 101
• Extreme DUI (BAC .15 or above) = 35
• Underage DUI = 12
• DUI felonies = 10
• DUI misdemeanors = 91
• Other citations = 511
