Pima County sheriff’s deputies are looking for a man who approached a girl Wednesday morning near Catalina Foothills High School.
The girl, a student at the school, told deputies she was standing near a Valero gas station at East Sunrise Drive and North Swan Road when a man approached her and asked her if she needed a ride, said Sgt. Dawn Barkman, a Pima County Sheriff’s Department spokeswoman.
The girl said the same man has approached her four times within the last year, Barkman said in a news release.
He has also approached other students from the school, the news release said.
The sheriff’s department has responded to previous calls within the last year regarding the man.
He is described as being in his early to mid-30s with a medium build and dirty strawberry blonde hair.
