More than 30 vendors sold arts and crafts and other items, ranging from jelly and baked goods to quilts and Christmas sweaters, at the St. Pius X Catholic Church Ladies Arts and Crafts Boutique, held every second weekend in November.
"All the money we gain goes back into the church and other charitable organizations around Tucson," said Kathy Madden, who helped organize and manage the event.
Some of the money goes toward college scholarships and nonprofit groups and some goes to the church for repairs or other expenses, Madden said.
Vendors included church members as well as others. One of the biggest income generators is the vast array of homemade jellies and jams.
"We have all sorts and different kinds to choose from," said church member and boutique organizer Audrey Davis.
