Friends of Music at St. Philip’s in the Hills Episcopal Church will present the operatic pop group Tra Fratelli in concert at 2 p.m. Sunday.
Tra Fratelli (“Among Brothers”) is the brainchild of University of Arizona Voice Professor Grayson Hirst and four young tenors: Humberto Borboa, Brandon Dale, Bryce Rodriguez and Edgar Ricaud.
Each has operatic training and experience but also an appreciation for the lighter side of classical singing — the music with which artists such as Andrea Bocelli, Il Divo and even The Three Tenors have been enchanting audiences over the past few decades.
The program features solo arias by each artist in addition to romantic quartets. The concert will be held in the church, 4440 N. Campbell Ave. at East River Road.
