Where can you find a lily pond in Tucson?
At the Tucson Waldorf School, which offers a class by that name for kids ages 2 1/2 to 6 years old.
The Lily Pond program, which is 8:30 a.m.-1 p.m. weekdays through Aug. 3, features indoor and outdoor activities including crafts and games. It costs $175 a week.
In July the school will offer a Medieval Arts program for kids in grades 2-8. It costs $200 a week.
Children can attend either program for one week or more. There's a $25 application fee for students not already enrolled at Waldorf.
The Tucson Waldorf School has two campuses; it held its mixed-media arts program at its River Bend campus, but the Lily Pond and Medieval Arts programs are at the Presidio Campus, 3349 E. Presidio Road.
