Low turnout for the "Wizards School of Dowsing" program didn't douse the confidence of Terry and Steve Klunk, who presented their program Saturday to a small group at the Kirk-Bear Canyon Library, 8959 E. Tanque Verde Road.
"We've got to start someplace," said Terry Klunk. "This is only the second one."
Dowsing is the search for underground supplies of water or metal using a divining rod, but it can be used to do many other things, the Klunks say.
The two, who are active with the Tucson Dowsers, hope to spread the knowledge of dowsing to both young and old, but the program plays on the popularity of Harry Potter wizardry to entice kids to learn.
"Who doesn't identify and love wizards?" Terry Klunk said. Kids who attend "are going to be wizards in training for the day."

She added that a "wonderful thing about dowsing is you are always learning something."
