To many people, Trump’s corruption is now legendary. Here is just a small, but crafty, one.
On several occasions during the 2016 election campaign Trump promised he would not be playing golf when elected, saying he would be too busy. When he golfed 261 times in four years, or about once every six days, it was hard to make that promise again. But, magas say he always keeps his promises?
In 2025 Trump golfed 88 times or once every four days. Each trip outside of Washington costs the taxpayers between $2.5 and $3 million dollars.
Most resorts have Trump owned hotels where Secret Service and support staff are lodged at over a $1000 per night per room. Food, golf cart rental and other incidentals are also charged to the government (aka – we taxpayers).
So, while Trump is enjoying a round of golf, his resort is raking in well over $100,000 in taxpayer’s money. What a great businessman! Or con man. Take your pick.
