Match Play Recap
Eight teams brought their “A” games for the Pusch Ridge Design and Remodel sponsored Match Play on Tuesday, September 23. Susie Gietl, our new, Assistant Golf Professional, even joined the fun. Gietl played with Jackie Kline, Barb Laskowski and Karen Wilson. Since Wilson had no partner, this gave Gietl an opportunity to get more familiar with members, and the course. Then, Wilson was given a blind draw after the match. According to Gietl, she has been playing golf since she was five, started competing when she was 11 and then made her college team in 2022. Gietl said, “I wasn’t super familiar with the course but everyone I played with was extremely helpful.” She also said she had an “amazing time,” and even joined in for lunch afterwards. Kline said, “Susie was a delight. And she can hit that ball!”
