Orlando, Fla. — Dwight Howard leaped high to dunk a long inbounds lob from Hedo Turkoglu with 0.2 of a second left Friday night, and Orlando halted a three-game losing streak with a 106-104 victory over San Antonio.
Howard had 30 points, and Jameer Nelson scored a season-high 31 for the Magic, who rallied from an 18-point deficit. Rookie J.J. Redick had a season-high 16.
Tim Duncan led the Spurs with 24 points, but was unable to stop Howard's jam in the final second. Brent Barry had 21 points and Michael Finley scored 18 for San Antonio.
● Nets 92, Celtics 78: In Boston, Vince Carter scored 21 points, Jason Kidd had 13 points and nine assists, and New Jersey spoiled Paul Pierce's return to Boston's lineup by extending the Celtics' franchise-record losing streak to 17.
Reserve Marcus Williams added 17 points for the Nets, who won their second straight following a four-game losing streak.

Pierce struggled in his first game since Dec. 20, scoring nine points on 4-of-16 shooting after missing 24 games with a stress reaction in his left foot and an infection in his left elbow.
● Cavaliers 103, Heat 79: In Cleveland, LeBron James ended a mini-scoring slump with 29 points, and Cleveland did a better job containing Miami's Dwyane Wade in snapping the Heat's five-game winning streak.
James had averaged just 17.7 points — almost nine under his average — in the past four games. But going head-to-head against his good friend Wade brought out the best in James, who scored 16 points after halftime and added seven rebounds and six assists.
Wade finished with 27 points.
● Mavericks 95, Rockets 74: In Dallas, Josh Howard had 22 points and seven rebounds to lead Dallas to its team-record 17th straight home victory.
Jason Terry added 18 points.
● Grizzlies 105, Timberwolves 97, OT: In Memphis, Tenn., Rudy Gay scored 19 points, including seven in overtime, to help Memphis snap a four-game losing streak.
● Warriors 123, Bulls 121, OT: In Oakland, Calif., Monta Ellis hit the go-ahead jumper with 43 seconds remaining in overtime, leading Golden State to its eighth straight home victory over Chicago.
● Raptors 96, Lakers 92: In Toronto, Chris Bosh had 29 points and 11 rebounds, Kobe Bryant missed a potential tying three-pointer in the final seconds.
● Trail Blazers 108, Bobcats 100, OT: In Charlotte, N.C., Zach Randolph had 40 points, and Jarrett Jack added 12 of his 20 points in overtime to help Portland snap a three-game losing streak.
The Blazers were playing in their second straight overtime game and fifth in nine games.
● Clippers 90, 76ers 89: In Philadelphia, Sam Cassell scored 22 points, and Cuttino Mobley had 17 to lead the Clippers, who ended a nine-game losing streak in Philadelphia.
Andre Iguodala led Philadelphia with 22 points.
● Nuggets 102, Pacers 95: In Indianapolis, Carmelo Anthony scored 34 points, and Denver stopped a three-game skid.

● Carmelo Anthony, the NBA's leading scorer, was picked by commissioner David Stern on Friday as an injury replacement for the All-Star Game and will make his first appearance in the showcase game on Feb. 18 in Las Vegas.
Stern also added Dallas forward Josh Howard to the Western Conference team. He needed to replace Houston center Yao Ming and Utah forward Carlos Boozer, who are both injured.
Anthony averages 30.8 points but was not voted in by the fans and then was not chosen as a reserve by West coaches.
