If you haven’t already activated your full-access subscription to the Star, here are a few reasons you should:
1 Ensure unlimited access to all of our content in print and digital, including Tucson.com and the Star’s smartphone and tablet apps.
2 Read the e-Newspaper, which is a replica of the printed newspaper. If you favor the format and organization of the print edition, the e-Newspaper is the best way to read the Star on your tablet, computer or smartphone when you are away from home. The e-Newspaper stores 30 days of past editions.
3 Better get to know the candidates for political office by watching our collection of interviews at tucson.com/video. We’ve posted videos of 16 interviews with candidates from Congress to the state House, and we are adding more each week.

4 Read our newest e-book, “The Greatest Manhunt in the History of the Southwest.” The book tells this true-crime story as it unfolded in the pages of the Star in 1918. This and nine other e-books are available free to subscribers. Go to the e-Newspaper and then click on the “e-Book” logo at the top of the main navigation bar.
5 Watch “This Is Tucson.” Irene McKisson and Hanna Gaber offer a lively two-minute overview of Southern Arizona’s best weekend events. Their video goes live every Thursday.
6 Enjoy 78 additional comics on Tucson.com. There’s “Dennis the Menace,” “Hagar the Horrible” and “Dick Tracy,” to name just three.
7 Check comprehensive TV listings. These cover programs for the next two weeks and can be customized to show your cable or satellite provider’s schedule.
8 Participate in live online reader chats. Read Tweets from our reporters at Arizona Stadium and chat with other fans during Saturday’s game against USC. The chat starts 30 minutes before game time. You can also jump on live chats on Friday nights for high school football.
9 Read our seasonal blog, “Autumn in Tucson.” It covers everything from pumpkin patches to roasting green chiles to corn mazes.
10 Win an Apple iPad. All subscribers who activate their digital accounts at Tucson.com before Dec. 31 are entered in a drawing to win one of nine tablets.
It’s easy to activate your full-access subscription. Go to Tucson.com and click the big blue “activate your full access” button on the right. The form that pops up will ask for two pieces of information: the ZIP code where your printed paper is delivered and the telephone number you provided when you subscribed to the Star.
Email circulation@tucson.com with questions about activation. Or call customer service at 1-800-695-4492 between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. Monday-Friday; 6 a.m. and 11 a.m. on Saturday; and 7 a.m. and 11 a.m. on Sunday. From the menu of options, say that you are calling for “help with our digital products.”
