Gaslight Theatre will honor tickets from the now shuttered Great American Playhouse including for the Gaslight's popular Christmas show.
Gaslight owner Tony Terry said he also will honor Great American Playhouse gift certificates that people were not able to redeem after the Oro Valley theater closed on Monday. If you don't have a physical ticket, you can show proof of purchase — a credit card receipt or email confirmation from the playhouse — he said.
The offer comes a day after Great American Playhouse officials announced they were sending refunds to anyone who bought tickets for its Christmas shows, which were to begin next weekend.
To get in on the Gaslight deal, make reservations by calling 886-9428 and tell them you are using a Great American Playhouse ticket. Then bring the ticket or proof of purchase with you on the night of the show and give it to the box office.

"I'll honor them for the next year. They can come to any of our shows as space is available," Terry said.
Tickets for Gaslight's Christmas show, "Race to the North Pole," might be tough. Terry said they already are 90 percent sold out for the show's nine-week run. It started Thursday and continues through Jan. 3 with matinees and evening shows daily.
Gaslight is at 7010 E. Broadway.
The final performance at Great American Playhouse, 13005 N. Oracle Road, was Sunday. The theater officially closed Monday.
