7 of the oddest lost and found items from the 2024 Sturgis Motorcycle Rally

The Buffalo Chip customarily shares a list of some of the rally's leftovers. Many are to be expected: wallets, keys, driver's licenses, credit cards.

Here are some of the more unusual stranded items:

1. A leg 

As it turns out, sometimes the cost of attending the rally can be an arm or a leg. Thankfully, this leg isn't made of flesh, but its owner probably notices its absence. 

2. A boxing nun

This servant of the Lord is not to be messed with. 

3. Teeth

Missing artificial body parts seems to be a common theme. The Buffalo Chip's website stated the front office did receive a call about missing teeth, but they didn't match the description of these abandoned chompers. 

4. 'A spilled can of alphabet soup' 

The real question isn't why the letters were left behind, but why someone brought them in the first place. Perhaps for a game of Scrabble? Practice for a spelling bee? We may never know. 

5. A Toyota Camry 

One would think a vehicle is the last thing that would get left behind, but the owner of this bottomed-out sedan seems to have given up on saving a vehicle that, at the very least, could serve as a college student's Facebook Marketplace treasure. 

6. A minivan 

Minivans don't usually invoke the spirit of a party. This poor Chrysler Town and Country was not only taken somewhere out of its element, but it was unceremoniously left there with its windows down, exposed to the elements. 

7. A pickle farmer 

Some rally attendees have work to do. This inflatable pickle isn't going to let his less-than-new farm equipment stop him from tilling the frontier of the Buffalo Chip.
