Five new members have joined the Tucson Medical Center Foundation Board of Trustees:
• Kim Bourn – Executive Director, Greater Tucson Leadership. Bourn has been chairing the “Block by Block, Miracles Happen” campaign to support the expansion of TMC for Children. She has previously served as director of Community Relations, Bourn Companies, and director of Development, University of Arizona Zuckerman College of Public Health.
•Fran Katz – Associate Publisher, Tucson Lifestyle magazine. Katz has been with Tucson Lifestyle for 25 years, and is active in a wide variety of community organizations, including Tucson Airport Authority and the Jewish Community Center. She also is co-owner of Choice Green Restaurants and BTO Speedway.
•Cody Ritchie – Crest Insurance Group. Ritchie is president of Crest Insurance, which was created when senior members of the BBVA Compass Insurance Agency acquired the firm’s assets last summer. Ritchie is active with community organizations such as the Tucson Conquistadors and the Fiesta Bowl Committee.

•Dr. Steven A. Siwik, – Radiologist, Radiology Ltd. Dr. Siwik is director of Imaging Services at TMC, and completed his post-graduate internship, residency and fellowship programs in Tucson at TMC and the University of Arizona Health Sciences Center.
•David C. Smallhouse – Managing partner, Miramar Ventures, LLC. Miramar Ventures is involved in real estate, private equity and venture capital investments. Smallhouse, a fifth-generation Tucsonan, was on the CFO’s direct staff at Burr-Brown Corp. in Tucson and now is a board member of BBVA Compass Bank. Community leadership positions include Tucson Airport Authority, Tucson Conquistadores, DM50 and the Desert Museum.
The TMC Foundation serves as both the development arm and grant-making body of Tucson Medical Center and TMC HealthCare. The Foundation receives, maintains and administers funds for its charitable purposes, consistent with TMC’s mission.
TMC is Tucson's largest hospital.
