Two men and a woman stole more than $3,500 worth of purses from a northwest side TJ Maxx store in two days.
The trio stole the purses Sept. 4 and 5 from the TJ Maxx, at 6230 N. Oracle Road near West Orange Grove Road, said Deputy Tracy Suitt, a spokesman for the Pima County Sheriff’s Department.
They walked in, grabbed armloads of purses from displays near the door and left. Some of the handbags were valued at $50 to $200, Suitt said.
One of the suspects was described as a black man with dreadlocks, standing 5-feet-9-inches tall and weighing about 150 pounds. He was wearing dark jeans and a bandana on his head during the theft.
A second man was described as Hispanic with light brown hair and mustache. He stood 5-feet-9-inches tall. He was wearing a plaid shirt, dark jeans and prescription eyeglasses.

The woman was described as light-skinned with a medium build and brown hair. She was wearing a white shirt and faded blue jeans.
Anyone with information on the identity of the suspects should call 911 or 88-CRIME.
