Patrons at local libraries can learn chest compression CPR, thanks to the University of Arizona's Sarver Heart Center.
The next session, which is free and open to the public, is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. today in the community room of the Himmel Library, 1035 N. Treat Ave. Free parking is available.

In addition to the CPR training, UA experts will give a talk titled "Winning the Battle Over Heart Disease: The Role of Diet and Exercise."
Scheduled speakers include Dr. Janet Funk, an associate professor of medicine at the UA College of Medicine - Tucson, and Heather Danielson, a registered dietitian at the UA Medical Center.
