Police have identified a Tucson man shot to death Monday night outside a South Side shuttle business.
Javier Moreno, 22, was driving a 1996 GMC Suburban in the parking lot of Sahuaro Shuttle, 4202 S. Sixth Ave., about 7 p.m. when a man walked up to the vehicle, according to a Tucson Police Department news release.
Moreno's girlfriend and his 2-year-old daughter were in the vehicle as well. The trio were at the shuttle service to pick up a relative's vehicle that had been left there.
The unidentified man confronted Moreno and then fired several shots, the release said.
After being shot, Moreno drove the vehicle onto Sixth where it collided with another vehicle.
Moreno was taken to University Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
