An evening of improvisational comedy by Lesley Abrams and Dean Steeves of Tucson's LaughingStock Comedy Co. will be presented Wednesday by the Arizona Senior Academy.
The free program will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the Great Room of the Arizona Senior Academy building at Academy Village, an active adult community located off Old Spanish Trail six miles southeast of Saguaro National Park.
Abrams, Steeves and their associates have written and performed hundreds of comedy shows for conventions, trade shows, banquets and other company events.
LaughingStock's comedians customize every performance, learning much about their audience before a show. They plan to interview several "Academy Villagers" before Wednesday's event to gather information about the community and its residents.
Abrams trained at the Players Workshop of Second City in Chicago and toured the country as part of the improvisational comedy team Abrams and Anderson.

Steeves has performed improvisational comedy since 1983 and also has had experience in radio, copywriting and advertising.
Married for nearly 20 years, the couple co-founded the LaughingStock Comedy Co. in 1993.
