NEEDED YET PRICEY
● The Ina Road project, aimed at one of Marana's two worst traffic bottlenecks, will streamline Marana's stretch of this major east-west route from Silverbell Road through the snarled interstate interchange to the Cañada del Oro wash, including a railroad overpass just east of I-10. The Ina project's components, spread out from fiscal years 2005-2006 through 2009-2010, total $32.5 million.
● The Cortaro Road Interchange, likely Marana's biggest traffic mess, is on the books for $8 million worth of improvements to be made to Cortaro Farms Road, on the east side of the interchange, this fiscal year.
● The most expensive project will be the $41 million Linda Vista/Twin Peaks Interchange, which starts next year with $2.5 million in work, peaks at $18.5 million in 2006-2007 and winds up, according to the plan, the next year with $11.5 million of excavation and construction.

Other major projects include:
● $6 million for connecting Tangerine and Adonis roads in North Marana.
● $9.5 million in improvements to Orange Grove and Thornydale roads through fiscal year 2009-10.
● $3.8 million for the Main Street project near the new Town Hall in North Marana.
● Smaller projects include a number of traffic lights, wash crossings and $1 million budgeted during each of the next five years for repaving roads.
