About 170 artists from all over the country will show their work at the Tubac 48th Annual Festival of the Arts Wednesday through Feb. 11.
The festival will be held in the village of Tubac, off Interstate 19 and Exit 34, and is free to the public from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
"There are artists that will only be seen in Arizona at the Tubac festival, but it really is a chance for the community of Tubac to show all that is going on here," said Carol Cullen, the executive director of the Tubac Chamber of Commerce.
Local nonprofit organizations and businesses will have booths so attendees can get information on what's available to them in Tubac, Cullen said.
A main attraction of the festival is the food court, with Greek, Thai, Chinese and Mexican foods as well as chili dogs and burgers, Cullen said.

Assorted jazz bands will be playing during the festival to promote the Second Annual Tubac Jazz & Blues Festival later this year, Cullen said.
Artist Amado Pena will be at the festival to autograph festival posters of his piece titled "Vos en Rojo," a part of his Mestizo series, Cullen said.
The environmental education group known as HawkQuest will give an interactive workshop about different types of birds, Cullen said.
HawkQuest will feature a bald eagle, a barn owl, a Swainson's hawk and a peregrine falcon in its presentation, Cullen said.
The outdoor festival was started by a group of artists in 1959, during Tubac's early history as an artist colony, and was one of the first of its kind in the nation, Cullen said.
The first festivals featured mostly work of the students at the local art school and later on grew to feature artists from all over Arizona before gaining the national reputation it has now, Cullen said.
Parking will be $5, with proceeds going to nonprofit organizations that will be running the lots, Cullen said.
