Trump won the 2016 election: NO FRAUD. Trump won the 2024 election: NO FRAUD. Trump lost the 2020 election: FRAUD. Selective, convenient fraud, used to frighten future voters, disenfranchise voters, control future elections. Rather than create a Republican platform which meets our needs, cry…

Todays LTEs, July 23, were a new record for the STAR. 100% vitriolic, hate filled rants condemning the present Administration on a wide variety of actions. No balance, no consideration of fact, no thoughtful evaluation of the reason this country is still the greatest country in the world to …

A defining moment from John McCain’s 2008 campaign is being revisited as a reminder of political integrity, highlighting the importance of correcting misinformation — even within one’s own party — in today’s polarized climate.
Juan Ciscomani has a pivotal role to play in protecting public lands. It's a role that he must fulfill.

When the White House sent thousands of armed immigration agents into Minneapolis earlier this year, it followed a playbook pioneered in Chicago. Now both cities are adding up the cost from those Department of Homeland Security surges and struggling to put the damage behind them.
It would be political folly for the Democratic Party to fully embrace calls to “abolish ICE,” at least without adopting a substitute blueprint for strong immigration enforcement.
