My Congressman, Juan Ciscomani, is a coward.
He broke the code of humanity, which is to help people, and voted against us. He is politically and ethically disgusting, precisely what voters dislike about politicians.
Now it’s time to face the voters, Congressman. We are not your subjects. We are reality, and reality will get the last word. Winning an election doesn’t entitle you to respect.
The soul of Congressional representation in Washington comes from listening to and meeting with constituents back home in the district. It’s time-consuming work. Ciscomani does none of that. Ciscomani ducks the people who sent him to Congress; he dodges our questions by not scheduling community meetings and hides from public assemblies because he cannot withstand the heat of his voters’ concerns. He is a profile in negative political courage, prioritizing Trump over his constituents. He betrayed the people who sent him to Washington with broken promises. His evident message is that he supports the rich and shafts the poor. His indifference insults our intelligence.

The greatest threat to a government by the people is elected representatives who crave power for their benefit, rather than serving those who elected them. Ciscomani could never be a respected statesman because he would say or do anything to gain power. He lacks the character needed for a government of, by, and for the people. But time is the great equalizer of man. Given time, Ciscomani will be exposed for what he is: someone who lacks the courage to face realities on behalf of his constituents.
And then there’s The Vote — Ciscomani’s vote for Trump’s decimating Big Beautiful Bill, the tax cuts for the filthy rich, and the massive reductions in medical care that have launched an American social revolution. As a player in the President’s fealty melodrama, our congressman contorted, convulsed, and capitulated as he scrambled to make Trump happy. He even had the gall to write a letter to Senate leadership asking them to protect Medicaid and veterans following his vote in the House to heartlessly gut their health care, your health care, and food for needy children. This is Ciscomani’s hypocrisy at its zenith as he tries to deflect blame for his vote.
The actual cost of that vote will be measured in lost lives in his district, showing his contempt for working folk. It’s a terrible thing to have to beg for your life in America. The number of individuals in his district who will lose health coverage cannot simply be dismissed as fraud, waste, and abuse of the system. There are tens of thousands in his district. The dearth of Ciscomani’s empathy is disgusting.
Ciscomani has made this all very personal. Accordingly, we as Americans will unite and fight for our rights. We will fight nonviolently wherever the fight takes us — in the streets, town squares, at City Hall, the courthouse, in the media, through campaign organizing, fundraising, walking door-to-door in our neighborhoods, and on Election Day, by taking voters block by block to the polls.
So, on the third day of November 2026, election day, the bill will come due. It always does. Ciscomani will be held accountable for his actions.
