Saturday morning the musical club held an intensely interesting meeting at the club rooms. A number of eastern visitors were present, who expressed themselves as greatly surprised at the remarkable ability and talent displayed at this meeting.
As one of the ladies expressed it, "Why, I never supposed that such a musicale could be given except in the largest cities west of the Mississippi. This was one of the most exquisite musical programs I have ever heard anywhere."
Miss Luttrell gave a reading on Grieg and the Norwegian poets, which was greatly enjoyed. Her reading of "Peer Gynt," the dramatic poem by Ibsen, was most inspiring and gave just the atmosphere necessary for the enjoyment of the Norwegian and Scandinavian music. Miss Luttrell is a talented reader and her selection, the first number on the program, was greatly appreciated.

Miss Louise Ronstadt, who is one of the younger singers and who is rapidly gaining an enviable reputation with her splendid voice, rendered "Ich liebe dich" and "Of a Waterlily," by Grieg. Miss Ronstadt's rendition of these songs may be said to be faultless and was enthusiastically received.
