Tucson Medical Center - CVICU Registered Nurse
BSN, RN, CCRN-CSC
American Association of Critical-Care Nurses
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) in 1998 in the Philippines. I immediately began giving back by volunteering at a government hospital. This experience ignited my passion for critical care, leading me to work in intensive care units (ICUs) in the Philippines until 2001. Seeking new opportunities to grow, I moved to England in 2001 and continued practicing in the ICU until 2006, honing my skills and learning from diverse healthcare systems.
In 2006, I relocated to the United States and joined Tucson Medical Center, where I have proudly served as a cardiac ICU nurse ever since. Over these nearly two decades, I have had the privilege of caring for complex cardiac patients, supporting families through challenging moments, and contributing to a team that delivers exceptional care in our community. In 2025, I was thrilled to be named Preceptor of the Year, a recognition that reflects my commitment to mentoring and guiding the next generation of nurses—something I find incredibly rewarding.
