A top Arizona recruiting target from Cathedral High School in Los Angeles has decommitted from UCLA.
This sounds a little like deja vu.
In May, safety Rhedi Short backed out of his commitment to UCLA while on a visit to Arizona's campus. In July, Short announced his verbal commitment to Arizona.
On that visit, Short was with his Cathedral teammate, four-star defensive end Hunter Echols. Friday, Echols announced his decommittment from the Bruins.

Might the Wildcats go 2-for-2?
The Wildcats have a decent shot at Echols, and it certainly doesn't hurt to have Short, a three-star recruit, around to help the cause.
Echols would be a major addition to Arizona's 2017 class, as the Wildcats are desperate for talent on the defensive line, and Echols would be the quality of recruit Arizona hasn't reeled in at that position in quite a long time.
Echols is listed at 6-foot-4 and 220 pounds and is rated the 13th best defensive end in the nation by Scout.com, and No. 2 in the West. Echols told Scout on Friday that he's likely to take official visits to Alabama, Nebraska and Notre Dame, with Arizona, Washington and USC pushing hard as well.
