The first of 25 Toronto Blue Jays games at Sahlen Field will take place Aug. 11, against the Miami Marlins, the American League team confirmed on Sunday.
Toronto will play Aug. 11-12 against Miami and Aug. 14-16 against the Tampa Bay Rays in their first Buffalo homestand.
In all, the Jays are scheduled to play 20 night games and five day games at the downtown ballpark. Starting time for all night games will be 6:37 p.m. Four Sunday games will start at 3:07 p.m. The day game Aug. 31 against Baltimore will have a 2:07 p.m. first pitch.
Toronto's first "homestand" will be at Washington on Wednesday and Thursday and at Philadelphia's Citizens Bank Park on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The Blue Jays will be the home team in each of the five games.
After the Miami and Tampa Bay series, the next Blue Jays series here will be three dates against the Boston Red Sox (Aug. 25-27) and four dates against the Baltimore Orioles (Aug. 28-31).

The New York Yankees will come to Buffalo twice in September. The first visit will be for three games Sept. 7-9 and the second for four games (Sept. 21-24). The New York Mets are scheduled for three games here (Sept. 11-13). The Jays' regular season will close with three games against the Orioles (Sept. 25-27).
The delay in putting off the first game at Sahlen Field was because extra time was needed for modifications to be completed at the Buffalo Bisons' home park.
The Blue Jays-Marlins game on August 11 will mark 104 years, 11 months and 3 days (or 38,324 days) since the last Major League game was played in Buffalo, according to the Bisons. The Buffalo Blues of the Federal League swept a doubleheader from the Baltimore Terrapins, 4-0 and 5-4, on September 8, 1915 at Federal Field.
All Toronto Blue Jays games at Sahlen Field will be closed to the public and no tickets will be issued for any game.
The Blue Jays are planning to open their alternate training site at Frontier Field in Rochester on Monday.
