Mountain View dropped seven spots in the Arizona Interscholastic Association's Division II rankings thanks to a 43-40 loss at Canyon del Oro last week.
It wasn't the only upset in town Friday night but it definitely was the biggest.
Salpointe Catholic climbed to No. 13 with its 38-24 win against Tucson High, which fell two spots to No. 15. Meanwhile, Sunnyside slipped to No. 10 after losing at Sahuaro, 17-14. The Cougars jumped to No. 18 with the win, giving them a shot at earning an at-large bid with a win Friday night.
