Creative Juice, the place where art and wine meet, is hosting a fundraiser Saturday through July 14 to help a Tucson family buy a wheelchair-accessible van for their son.
Throughout the week, Creative Juice, 6530 E. Tanque Verde Road, will donate a portion of its class fees to support Sue and Craig Preble, who need the van for their 17-year-old son, Chad.
According to Creative Juice, Sue Preble gave birth to Chad and his twin, Connor, three months early. Both weighed under 2 pounds and were given a 25 percent chance of survival.
The twins beat the odds, but Chad was diagnosed with quadriplegic cerebral palsy.
The family needs the van to transport Chad and his wheelchair. Right now, they rely on an aging Suburban with mom Sue lifting Chad in and out. That task has become nearly impossible since Sue Preble was diagnosed with severe arthritis in both hands and needs surgery.

Creative Juice will donate $10 from every student who signs up for a class in the next week. Classes run $25 and $35.
