The former Nimbus Brewery and Restaurant at 6464 E. Tanque Verde Road has been sold for $1.4 million.
“Any longtime Tucson resident remembers when this building was Bobby McGee’s,” said Pete Villaescusa, who along with Jesse Peron of CBRE negotiated the sale on behalf of the seller, McMahon Properties LLC.
“The building is located in the heart of the old restaurant row area of Tucson and it will provide a new restaurant operator with a great, well-known location.”
All Real Property Inc. of Camp Verde bought the 8,400-square-foot property and plans to operate a restaurant/bar. Jim and Ryan Egan of Prime Commercial Real Estate represented the buyer.
The sale was a court-ordered liquidation of Bob McMahon’s assets as part of his bankruptcy proceeding.
