News you Monty Python lovers have been waiting for:
"Spamalot" opens in Tucson next month.
And tickets for the musical, brought here by Broadway in Tucson, go on sale at 10:30 a.m. today.
When "Spamalot" took to the road a few years back, it landed a Las Vegas deal that meant it couldn't grace our grounds for 10 years.
But, lucky for us, it closed early in Las Vegas and the deal was off.
The play's based loosely on "Monty Python and the Holy Grail," but you'll see plenty of other Python moments in the play, including an extended singing of "Always Look on the Bright Side of Life" from "Life of Brian."
It plays Sept. 22-27 at the Tucson Music Hall, but you best get your tickets now if you want to guarantee a seat.
