Early this week, a regular at Casino del Sol walked away with nearly half a million dollars on the progressive Wheel of Fortune slot machine.
Last Friday, a customer at Desert Diamond Casino took double that in the game, snagging a $1.1 million mega jackpot. The casino, an enterprise of the Tohono O'odham Nation, said it has had more than three dozen six-figure mega jackpots in recent years
The latest winner would not go public with their name and the casino would not provide any information about whether the winner was from Tucson.
