Longtime Tucson funnyman Gary "Hoodie" Hood has a suggestion for who should be Donald Trump's running mate: Ringmaster Michael Buffer, the guy with the trademarked catchprase "Let's get ready to rumble!"
Hood was initially thinking ex-Alaska governor Sarah Palin, John McCain's old running mate in his failed 2011 presidential run.
"But she would give Trump too much legitimacy," the Laffs Comedy Caffe talent booker quips.
You can hear more of Hood's political predictions and pokes Friday mornings when he joins KLPX 96.1's "The Frank Show" at 8:30 a.m. Hood said he's on until 9, sometimes 9:15, doling out his sharp one-liners and punchlines.
