Savor is a perfect name to sum up what organizers of Saturday's Southern Arizona Food and Wine Festival are going for: big and bold.
As many as 40 Southern Arizona chefs will cook up tasty menu bites that showcase the region's culinary diversity. Alongside the eats are the drinks, featuring pours from area wine- and beer-makers as well as those who dabble in spirits.
Participating restaurants include Mama's Hawaiian BBQ, Boca Tacos y Tequila, Loews Ventana Canyon Resort, Monsoons Tap & Grill, Tazzina di Gelato and Kalina Russian Cuisine and Tea House. Brewers and wineries participating including Borderlands Brewing Co., Dragoon Brewery, Aridus Wine Co., Callaghan Vineyards and Thunder Canyon Brewery.
