Tucson college student Tora Woloshin was booted from "The X Factor" Tuesday night as the judges of the singing contest whittled the contestant pool to 17.
It was supposed to be only 16 acts that moved on to the live performance round, but Simon Cowell had a change of heart and invited one contestant back.
Woloshin, who impressed the judges in her initial audition, was undone by the Rolling Stones' song "I Can't Get No Satisfaction."
Not long after her dismissal was broadcast, Woloshin tweeted: "Didn't make it. But no worries!! this will opened so many doors for me!"
Meanwhile, Chino Valley teen Drew Ryniewicz moves on to the next round.
